A Tale of Two Funerals

Just when things already have gone wrong, things became worst.
On the last day of the funeral for my grandfather, my father's side grandmother who had already took a nasty fall and fractured her left thigh bone, passed away yesterday afternoon.
One funeral after the next, I totally almost broke down but it is so tiring to go one after and another. 7 days of sleepless nights and now another one. Sighz.
But this funeral was simple and quick, the relatives are a punch of whiney-pants pussies that can't work on any decision at all. Everyone don't want to chip in for the funeral, the brothers can't even do it properly as a last farewell for thier own mother. Sighz, both funerals are so different. This one just makes people more irritated and upset that there are such people in the world.
My grandmother has led a long life,
although her last decade was a tedious one
she can finally now rest in peace.

A tribute

Firstly I would like to apologize to everyone that I have shunned or gave them the impression that I was trying to distancing myself from there. There is a perfectly good reason for that. The MGG people, sorry that I didn’t say a proper bye before I left the exam.

My grandfather had passed away on that very early morning of the paper. I had zero sleep and am wondering if I am going to pass my MGG paper.

Upon hearing the news at 2am in the morning, I think I went into a state of numbness, I really could not tell my left from my right at the moment of time.

Straight after the exam I have been at the wake for the past few days till today, Sunday.

Today is the last day of open coffin; he was going to be cremated in the afternoon.

I stayed overnight and had only one or two hours of sleep. But I made a keen observation, death separates you from people yet it brings people together. Everyone adult suddenly started being nice to each other, while all the cousins suddenly grow up and become young adults. The time I spent there was tiring and just a level above adrenaline rush and operating on sheer mind power.

I would say the last ritual today went off well. These few days have been blistering hot and I believe that my grandfather has been watching over us. Just as his last ritual began, it started to rain quite heavily, the weather become cooling and just when the chanting ended and it was time for us to follow behind the coffin in a funeral march, it stopped raining but there were ample wind to gently caress away our tears. We believed he was there to watch over us, within the area of his coffin, there was a solitary moth on the canvas. It is Chinese belief that when there is a moth, it contains the spirit of the recently deceased and it is a form of goodbye said to us and the deceased.

So to my departed grandfather,

May you rest in peace.

Stupid things that Pinkie Does

Monday, I was already feeling sick as my throat hurt like hell. I told Pinkie that I was going off to bed early because I was hoping that my throat will clear by tomorrow morning which was Tuesday.

I went to sleep at 1130pm, and at 1205am a sms came. I was just on the verge of falling asleep, and I woke up to see the message.

Pinkie’s 1st message:
Are you still awake?

My reply:
Yea, why, what happened?

Pinkie’s 2nd message:
Nothing, just wanted to ask if we are watching “Knowing” together?

My reply:
No, you can go watch, I going to go sleep.

In my mind was thinking
WTF! Dot, Dot, Dot

Pinkie’s 3rd message:
Okie, cause internet has already.

I didn’t bother to reply after that.

Seriously, I am sick and going to sleep already and you message me to ask me a stupid question. I seriously thought what happen, if you like were in trouble or you needed help to print something important for school. But noooo, it was a stupid question.

Voters please vote using my tag board…
Question: Is Pinkie stupid?
1. Yes
2. No
3. Hell, he is so dumb…

Dinner for the next two weeks, you are so paying!!

Camp Granada

Do you guys remembert his song? I suddenly heard it somewhere and tadah here are the lyrics!

Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh (a letter from camp) was a 1963 parody by Allan Sherman of Amilcare Ponchielli's Dance Of The Hours...

Hello Muddah, hello Fadduh.
Here I am at Camp Granada.
Camp is very entertaining,
And they say we'll have some fun if it stops raining.

I went hiking with Joe Spivy.
He developed poison ivy.
You remember Leonard Skinner...
He got ptomain poisoning last night after dinner.

All the counselors hate the waiters,
And the lake has alligators,
And the head coach wants no sissies,
So he reads to us from something called "Ulysses".

Now I don't want this should scare ya,
But my bunk mate has malaria.
You remember Jeffrey Hardy...
They're about to organize a searching party.

Take me home, oh Muddah, Fadduh,
Take me home, I hate Granada!
Don't leave me in the forest where
I might get eaten by a bear.

Take me home, I promise I will not make noise,
Or mess the house with other boys.
Oh, please don't make me stay,
I've been here one whole day.

Dearest Father, darling Mother,
How's my precious little brother?
Let me come home if you miss me,
I would even let Aunt Bertha hug and kiss me.

Wait a minute, it stopped hailing,
Guys are swimming, gals are sailing.
Playing baseball, gee that's betta,
Muddah, Fadduh, kindly disregard this letter!

The new 1964 version, recorded live on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show on 27 May 1964...

G R A N A D A! Camp Granada, bleeeck!

Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh. I am back at Camp Granada.
And I'm writing you this letter just to say my compound fracture's getting better.
No one here knows where my trunk is and my bunk is where the skunk is.
And this year the food's improving 'cause the little black things in it are not moving.

Our camp nurse is quite a swimmer. She says swimming makes you slimmer.
Her name's Mrs. Balagreeni. Have you ever seen a whale in a bikini?
All our bathrooms have such thin doors. Gee, I wish they'd move them indoors.
We're all tired of Mother Goose here. So next Friday night they're having Lenny Bruce here.

Let me stay, oh Muddah, Fadduh. Let me stay, I love Granada.
Every night the camp fire's really keen. Oh mom, please send some unguentine.
Let me stay, out here in mother nature's land and tip-toe through the tulips grand.
To leave would be a shame. Besides, I'd miss the poker game.

Please don't worry, Fadduh, Muddah. I'll take care of little brother.
He plays ball here and he rows here and I hope they teach him how to blow his nose here.
He wakes up at half past six and goes directly to the quick sand.
He was lonely, now he's better. He's like all of us except his bed is wetter.

the wonders of a wifi phone

Hello, everyone, I know my avid readers are complaining that I have not been blogging a lot recently. Well so here I am to blog about my experience or rather a perverted experience.

Ok, let's see. I am sitting at Suntec's Anderson ice cream palor. You know, the very one near the escalator! Well I am enjoying a banana madness smoothie and not to mention the fantastic array of colorful views I am getting here!

Any one would like to make a guess what this fantastic sight is? Well come let this guru enlighten you. It is the fantastic world of ladies in short skirts. Because I am situated right underneath the escalator, Everytime I just look up, I get to see an assortment of short skirts and mutitude of underwear lol... Yes so let this serve as a warning, never ever wear short skirt and stand next to the escalator. Because people all they have to do is up slightly tilt their head up and tadah! I can see your undies.

Well it makes me wonder how many times I have accidentally flashed people my undies to be exact. Morale of the story? Maybe do not wear skirts! Lol...

Okie so far I manage to see three hints of undies from the ladies up above. However my greatest conquest was... Drumroll please... A lady in a white skirt and I saw her entire white with cartoon character undies. I almost choked on my smoothie lol...

The next table's chocolate fondue is tempting me. I shall leave this place before I start craving for chocolate.

Over and out...
